Bizsoftbiz vs QuickBooks

Looking for a QuickBooks alternative?

QuickBooks is excellent accounting software. The friction is almost never the accounting — it is everything involved in getting your sales into it.

The sync is the problem

Connecting a POS to accounting software is a solved problem in the sense that a connector exists. It is not solved in the sense that it works without attention: mappings drift, a refund lands on the wrong side, a discount is booked gross in one system and net in the other, and someone spends a morning a month finding out which figure is right.

What "no sync" buys you

Nothing to configure, nothing to monitor, and no reconciliation between the till and the books, because they are the same records. It also means cost of goods is exact rather than estimated — the cost of each unit is captured at the moment it sells, so repricing an item never rewrites the margin on orders already rung up.

Where QuickBooks stays ahead

Automatic bank feeds, payroll, an enormous app ecosystem, and the fact that almost any accountant can open your file without a conversation. If those matter more to you than removing the sync, stay.

Questions, answered

Does Bizsoftbiz integrate with QuickBooks?

No. It appears on our integrations page as planned, and we list it as planned rather than available. If a QuickBooks integration is a requirement for you today, Bizsoftbiz is not the right choice yet.
