Feature
A till that runs in the browser
Search, scan or tap. Discounts, tax and split tender handled, receipts out, and the stock and the books updated by the time the drawer shuts.
Ringing up
A product grid with category filters and a search that understands what you meant — semantic search finds "cold brew beans" without you knowing the exact SKU name, and falls back to ordinary text matching. A USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works with no setup because scanners type like a keyboard.
Discounts and tender
Discounts at the line and at the cart, each as a percentage or a fixed amount. Cash, card, mobile, or a split between cash and one of the others — enter the cash portion and the remainder is computed so the two tenders sum exactly to the total. Cash tendered gives change due, and the drawer reconciles at end of shift.
- The database prices the basket, not the browser
- Every price, tax figure and total is recomputed server-side on every sale
- Overselling is refused at the database, not warned about in the UI
Bizsoftbiz records card payments, it does not process them
Card and mobile payments are taken on the card machine you already have, and the cashier records the amount against the sale. Your processing and your rates stay exactly as they are, there is nothing to migrate, and we take no cut of your takings. Cash is counted into the drawer and reconciled at the end of the shift.
Receipts and refunds
Print through the browser, download a PDF, or email the customer. Refunds restore stock and post the exact mirror of the original sale to the ledger — and can be routed to an owner for approval rather than being in every cashier’s hands.
Questions, answered
What hardware do I need?
Any device with a browser. A tablet or laptop runs the terminal, and a USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works out of the box. Receipt printing goes through the browser print dialog — there are no drivers to install and no proprietary hardware to buy.
Does it work offline?
No. Bizsoftbiz needs a connection to ring up a sale, because pricing and the stock check happen in the database rather than in the browser. If your connection is unreliable, this is a real consideration and we would rather you knew now.
Can it handle partial refunds?
Not yet — refunds are whole-order today. Refunding part of an order is on the list and we do not claim it as shipped.

A POS with accounting actually built in
The usual arrangement is a till in the shop, accounting software in the back office, and a person moving numbers between them. Bizsoftbiz removes the gap by making them the same system.

Stock figures are only useful if you can explain how they got there. Every movement in Bizsoftbiz is an append-only ledger row with a running balance and the cost in force at the time.
