What people actually ask it

The assistant reads exactly what the screens read, so it and the workspace can never quote different figures.

It never writes SQL, and it never invents a number

The model can call a fixed set of read-only queries with validated inputs. It cannot compose its own SQL, cannot reach outside your store, and cannot write anything at all. Statistics are computed in the database; the model writes the sentence around them.

It only sees what you are allowed to see

The tools available to the assistant are narrowed by the asker’s own permissions as well as by what the store has purchased. A stock controller with no access to the accounting workspace gets an assistant that cannot answer accounting questions — because an assistant that answers what its user could not look up is a data leak with a friendly tone.
