Things you can just ask for

The question is turned into a structured report request, run as an ordinary query, and drawn as a line, bar or pie chart.

Metrics and dimensions

Revenue, orders, units sold, average ticket and gross profit, broken down by day, category, product, cashier, payment method or customer. Gross profit uses the cost captured on each line at the time of sale, so a report about last quarter is not rewritten by a price change made yesterday.

Sales analysis, sales variance against the prior period and the same period last year, expense analysis, a historical profit and loss with one column per period, and inventory analysis — each exportable to Excel and PDF.
