For your business

Retail POS with the back office attached

For shops where the difficult part is not taking the money — it is knowing what to reorder, what it cost, and what the month actually made.

The counter

Scan or search, apply a line or a whole-basket discount, take cash, card, mobile or a split of them, and print or email the receipt. Stock decrements as part of the sale, so the shelf figure is right the moment the customer leaves.

The stockroom

Purchase orders to your suppliers, goods receipt that recomputes weighted-average cost, physical counts that do not erase the day’s trading, and a movement ledger where every unit is accounted for. Reorder suggestions come from what actually sold, the supplier’s lead time, and what is already on order.

The office

A double-entry ledger that posts itself from every sale, refund and delivery. Trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, receivables and payables — all from the same data the till writes, so there is nothing to reconcile between the front and the back.

Knowing which lines are worth carrying

ABC classification by gross profit rather than revenue, GMROI and turnover against average inventory, sell-through, stock aging and a dead-stock list with markdown suggestions. This is the part a spreadsheet cannot do, because it needs the cost of every unit at the moment it sold.

Questions, answered

Can I run more than one shop on it?

Not yet. Bizsoftbiz is single-store today, and we would rather say so than let you find out after migrating. Multi-location is not shipped.
