Rupees, grouped and spelled correctly

Lakh and crore grouping when amounts are spelled out on cheques and vouchers, cents as the minor unit, and two decimal places pinned on every figure the system displays.

Costing that survives a price change

Weighted-average cost is recomputed on every goods receipt, and the cost of each unit is captured at the moment it sells — so a supplier price rise never rewrites the margin on sales already made. What you paid last time is tracked separately from what your stock is worth.

Credit sales, aged and chased

Invoices with the customer’s tax registration and terms, receivables aged into buckets, per-customer statements of account, and credit notes netted off so the aging and the control account agree.

The statements

Six-column trial balance, profit and loss, grouped balance sheet, cash flow by both methods, and a control-account reconciliation that puts each control balance beside the records behind it.
