Naira, with kobo

The store operates in NGN throughout, with kobo as the minor unit when amounts are spelled out on cheques and payment vouchers, and two decimal places pinned everywhere so nothing is rounded away on screen.

No hardware to buy

The terminal runs in a browser on a tablet or a laptop. A USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works with no setup because scanners type like a keyboard, and receipts print through the browser dialog. There is nothing proprietary to import.

Payments stay yours

Bizsoftbiz records payments rather than processing them. Cash goes into the drawer and reconciles at close; card and transfer are taken however you take them today and recorded against the sale. Your rates and your provider do not change, and we take no share of your takings.

The back office

Purchase orders and goods receipt with weighted-average costing, a movement ledger, physical counts, aged receivables and payables with statements, bank reconciliation against your bank’s export, and a full set of financial statements.

Questions, answered

Does it work offline?

No. Bizsoftbiz needs a connection to ring up a sale, because pricing and the stock check happen in the database rather than in the browser. Where connectivity is unreliable this is a real limitation and worth weighing before you commit.
